Pieter Francois is Professor of Cultural Evolution and Director of the Computational Humanities Lab, University of Oxford. His work focuses on what makes societies cohesive, resilient, and peaceful.

At the Alan Turing Institute Pieter is the Research Lead of the Resilient Societies Research Group. At the G20 Interfaith Forum he is Co-Chair of the Freedom of Religion or Belief Working Group.
