Maryam is a Programme Manager at DA. She works on the Next Generation Dialogues programme, building and developing communication between emerging leaders, policymakers, civil society, and other stakeholders and managing policy dialogues across South-West Asia and North Africa (SWANA).
Maryam has over eight years’ experience in conflict resolution and mediation in Syria and Lebanon and has worked with various mediation organisations, the United Nations and human rights organisations on peacebuilding, risk and humanitarian security and access with senior diplomats, politicians, civil society and human rights activists.
Maryam has lived and worked across SWANA and holds an MA from The University of Edinburgh and an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
